RTO and RPO — In Plain English
RPO (Recovery Point Objective) is how much data you can afford to lose — e.g., 24 hours or 1 hour. RTO (Recovery Time Objective) is how fast you must be back online. A blog might tolerate RPO 24h and RTO 4h; an e-commerce store often needs RPO 1h and RTO 1h. We set both with you, then configure frequency and restore paths to meet them — not guess.
